The midrange Club trim starts at $31,150 for soft-top models and $38,550 for hardtop models. This trim adds a limited-slip differential, sport-tuned Bilstein dampers, strut tower bracing, 17-inch wheels, a black front air dam and rear spoiler, heated seats, wireless Apple CarPlay, satellite radio, and a nine-speaker stereo.
On top of that, Mazda is a very small manufacturer without the resources of the bigger rivals. The Miata is it’s own platform (separate from the other two main platforms that all of their other cars are built on). It’s always had a long lead time for updates and refreshes.
The soft top will be louder than the hard top, esp on the freeway TBH, most likely the 3-piece hard top will be perfect for you, and you could add the sunrider for the summer months. The Mazda top has a very nice headliner and the latches are the same as the ones on the soft top. Earlier Mazda tops had no headliner or rear defroster. The Snugtop had a small "Snugtop" decal, I think in the drivers side "B" pillar area. It had a headliner glued on that seemed to be made of indoor / outdoor carpeting and had a funky odor.
