Helloall, sorry to revive an older thread but I'm looking at a 2014+ SRT8 Jeep for the wifey mobile. I will also use it to occasionally pull my 20' enclosed trailer with a ~3200 lb car, so approximately 6200 lbs. I understand the tow rating is 7200 but with cargo, gear, etc, I'll be close to the max.

060 times are very close but everyday driving is much more refined with the 8 speed. The 35-75 mph time is almost four seconds quicker with the 8 speed vs. 5 speed. That is more "real world" driving. 0-60 is cool for bragging rights but not many people go full throttle from a dead stop to 60 mph in normal driving.SnO2.
