The_MorningStar • 3 yr. ago. Sony ended production of the PS2 in 2012, a year before the PS4 was released. They ended production of the PS3 in 2017. Production of the PSP ended in 2014 and the last UMD's were produced in 2016. I highly doubt they'll announce the end production of the PS4 before the PS5 is even out.
